What do you think he would see? Himself with Lily, surrounded by little Snapelings? Himself avenging Lily's death and killing Voldemort? Himself getting revenge over James for stealing Lily? Himself being appointed Harry's guardian over Sirius (unlikely, but hypothetical)?
