What did Nelly Dean know that others didn't on Thrushcross Grange and Wuthering Heights?

i have to write an essay on the things that Nelly Dean knew in Wuthering Heights and what the effect would have been if she had told all she knew at the time they occured. If she told Edgar about Cathy and i NEED more examples please help...due TOMORROW :( ne thing helps.
