If the genotypes AA, Aa, aa have the frequencies .5, .25 and .25 (respectively) what are the p = freq(A) and q=freq (a)? After a single generation of random mating what are the frequencies of AA? Aa? aa? Was the parental population in Hardy Weinberg Equilibrium?
