Maybe I should rephrase the question: If GOD is perfect, why was 99% of the species hes created gone extinct?

Evolution isn't perfect, and neither is nature, but "God" is suppose to be perfect. If you except that God is perfect, and Evolution never happened, how do you explain the 99% part??
